Carlton Bridge Club Congress

The Carlton Congress is being held on Sunday 18th October 2026. 

The format is a Pairs competition followed by an excellent buffet supper and then a Swiss Teams competition.

The event is open to all SBU members.  There is an enhanced master point allocation for those who do well.

It starts at 12 midday with Pairs. Supper will be around 4.00 pm and then Swiss Teams around 5.15pm.  The club will be open from 11.00 am with drinks and light snacks available all day.

Registration will be available on the Carlton website from Tuesday 1st September 2026.

New Melville Bridge Club Congress

Join us at the New Melville Bridge Club in Edinburgh for our 2026 Christmas Congress.

Held over two days, the congress includes a Swiss Pairs on Monday 28 December and a Swiss Teams on Tuesday 29 December, with prize categories for Silver and Bronze competitors as well as the overall winners.

Both events are designed to offer a full day of competitive bridge in a welcoming club environment.

Schedule

Play starts at 11 am on both days and is expected to finish by 8.30 pm each day.

There will be a break for a meal at the half way stage each day. Meals must be ordered in advance. Entry forms and food orders, which must be paid for in advance, can be found on the club website.

The entry fee is £15 per person per day.
